Our Services

ACE bridges the gap between research and the classroom. Serving 132 school divisions and state-operated centers across all 8 VDOE superintendent regions, ACE is committed to equipping educators and families with current information and relevant skills to support students with autism across school, home, and community settings.

By partnering with schools to build staff capacity, we aim to broaden opportunities for every autistic student, ages two through twenty-two, supporting their journey toward personal and academic success. Together, the goal is to prepare students to become contributing members of their communities and be valued friends, co-workers, and family members.

The ACE Approach

ACE provides free resources, training, and technical assistance delivered through a high-quality, comprehensive menu of Universal, Targeted, and Intensive services, designed for various roles, skill levels, and needs.

Our services are available to anyone who lives with, educates, or supports individuals with autism, including:

  • Families & Caregivers: Access to parent-friendly guides, webcasts, and communities to better understand autism and implement evidence-based strategies in the home and community.
  • Educators & Related Service Providers: Improve everyday classroom instruction with research-based training, coaching, and evaluation tools that help students fully participate in inclusive classrooms, engage with the curriculum, build essential skills, and become more independent.
  • School Leaders: Leverage our professional development courses, virtual learning communities, and technical assistance to build school-wide capacity, ensure consistent service quality, and empower students and staff.
