Daniel started his career as an instructional assistant at a private day school for students with autism. During this time he earned his Master's degree in Special Education at VCU. He became a teacher and program coordinator before moving into public schools. In the public school setting, he provided training and coaching to teachers and administrator as an Autism Mentor Teacher. He has also served at the Virginia Department of Education as the Specialist for Autism, Assistive Technology, and Intellectual Disabilities. Most recently, Daniel worked as a Behavior Analyst in a public school division developing a multi-tiered system of supports. He was responsible for developing training and resources related to classroom management, FBA and BIP processes, and supporting schools and teachers with hands-on training and coaching.
