Every student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) will receive appropriate supports and Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) to enable them to benefit from their education and to prepare them to enter adulthood.


To provide students with Autism Spectrum Disorder the highest quality of education by:

  • Increasing staff knowledge and implementation of Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) with fidelity
  • Improving post-secondary readiness skills to promote personal independence
  • Improving communication with school and community stakeholders to increase awareness of autism
  • Utilizing data-driven decision-making to implement programming
  • Providing an individualized continuum of services & strategies


  • All learners are unique individuals.
  • Students will/can meet their individual potential.
  • Students deserve to be treated with dignity.
  • Students deserve to be included in the full school community.
  • Students deserve to be given choices.
  • Successful student transition is dependent upon consistent and collaborative programming between sending team and receiving team for each student (level-to-level, school-to-school).
  • Staff needs to be teachable and flexible.
  • Staff will approach students expecting their highest level of potential.
  • Social-Communication is equal to self-advocacy is equal to independence.
  • Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) are necessary however staff needs to use appropriate one for individual student (Differentiation).
  • Coaching is essential to develop a continuity of services.
  • Parents are vital members of a student’s decision-making teams.
  • Education is an investment that is sustainable when all stakeholders (Parents, Admin., related services, employers, teaching teams, gen. ed. staff) collaborate to implement practices with fidelity.
  • We need to begin with the end in mind.
