Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) represent a distinct category of developmental disabilities that share many of the same characteristics.   Part 1 is an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders. This online seminar provides a description of the common characteristics that comprise ASD and define the disability categories of Autism, Asperger Syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders - Not Otherwise Specified.
